September 2021

Autumn in September is rich with color in oranges and reds and golds. We were greeted with the first hint of dahlias, a little taste, that made us addicted to the excitement of having handfuls of them in the following month. Sunflowers were abundant, the zinnia patch looked like a wave of color, and the roses were beginning to hit their peak lacing the air with thick sweet scent. We hadn’t yet been able to experience such a variety of blooms and foliage at our fingertips. It was such a delicious moment to view a full farm of blooms that we had tenderly cared for and now in return were coming back to create these beautiful, lush bouquets. It was something we could never have enjoyed without the farm, this new avenue opened up so many possibilities and we really got the full flavor of this in the vibrant month of September.

We met a wonderful new photographer and she was able to come to the flower farm and capture the beauty of the month. Her eye for detail and her fun personality really made the evening as she captured us and our little farm. We highly recommend Haley Hundt Photos!
