june 2021

June was a month of fresh spring abundance in the form of ranunculus, peonies, anemones and the first few fresh flowers from the annual garden. The seeds and seedlings carefully tucked into the once muddy, cold earth were beginning to grow and prosper and show their gratitude in return by delivering us some wonderful blooms.

We began to return to orders for sweet anniversary arrangements, opened the flower cart, and entered an easy stride into early morning flower harvests. It was such a fun experience to bring in the harvest and design bouquets to set on the flower cart for fellow local flower lovers. We will never tire of seeing Instagram stories or Facebook posts where our flowers graced family dining tables or were graciously given as gifts on first dates.

Being able to start on our first weddings of the season was a completely different and refreshing experience when we were able to use flowers from the farm. Waking early to pick fresh flowers that you planted just for that event and incorporating it into your design gave the arrangements just the touch we were looking for when we started this venture. Giving each wedding a wonderfully wild-picked garden look.
